Cancer

Cancer is the leading cause of death in Canada. Two cancers we are particularly focused on are Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a lethal cancer of the blood system, and Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM), an aggressive brain cancer with an unsettlingly high recurrence rate. Our approach is to further our understanding of the cells implicated in these diseases to ultimately determine how they can be predicted, managed and eliminated.
